So this week's song of the week from Family Force 5 is Put Your Hands Up. Butch Walker has a pet Liger who appears in this song! if you don't know who butch walker is, go read a CD and see who produced it. Honestly if u listen to the same people I do, You can totally find it.

So V-Day kinda sucked for me. i don't really have a sweetie this year so it was kinda sad.
I spent most of yesterday on Facebook, looking at Flair. I love the flair! lol.

then we all went shopping. I listened to Bring Me The Horizon. Awesome band.

We watched Journey To the Center of the Eart too.

it was a good movie.

So i guess tomorrow we get off so im looking foward to it and I'm hoping I can work on a few songs.

At Church, we get to put on a 'concert' at youth group. i'm singing. *GULP*
We're doing on of my own songs. And its not with Deny justice. It's with my 2 guy friends Alex and Will. They're awesome at guitar. So I'm praying this will go over well. haha

But that's about it. Derby race next week. I'm Stoked!!!!!

I don't even know what to post! ah ha

I've been doing a lot of school lately... ugh! sooo boring!

So i wrote a few new songs...they're pretty good.

I'm actually planning EPs and LPs for later...deciding which songs I'll put out when. Keeps me busy and happy.

I've gotten a few new CDs. Folie a Deux is amazing. I also love Family Force 5, Business up front, party in the back. and dance or die. good band. lol. the maine can't stop, won't stop is also awesome.

derbys been good...i got 2 4ths at the last race...pretty good.

I havent worked much on my stories... my jumpdriveS arent working right...im pretty mad about that.

i got some kickin' headphones at wal-mart for $20. love them! lol

uhmm... my bff next door moved on monday, so now i rly have no one close. not fun. I'm almost done with my english semester. then i can dye my hair purple! (:

I love my phone, but i dropped it at derby and cracked the screen...oops! its okay tho...tiny crack. nbd.

i'm stoked for the new Red Jumpsuit Apparatus CD and the VersaEmerge Ep!!!

I just got the new AP magazine with All Time Low on the cover! YESSS!!! lol it has Soul Glow Activatour (did i spell his name right?) from Family Force 5 in it! WHOOO!!!!i love AP! lol...too bad I can't go to the AP tour concert....FF5, the maine, hit the lights...oooh so awesome! but no. theyre coming on a derby day. But I can go to the Fall Out Boy one with Hey monday, ATL, Cobra and metro station! WHOOO!!! it's like the believers never die part duex or something?

So today i had to read at church. I had the second reading and my friend had the first - extremly long btw. so i had this short one and she had a long one...i had to do the prayers as well as carry the book up...whoo! long day.

Well my mom wants me to do school now... so byes!

Winter Passing

Haha good excuse for a The Academy Is... song.

For some weird reason, I haven't really gotten into the Christmas Spirit this year. I've had a big fight with my best friend. It's fixed, but it's still not the same between us. Knowing what happened and what could happen. But we're friends again, nonetheless. Haha she just texted me! :)

So This year has come and gone and I don't really want it to end. Yes, This year was mostly worse than 2007, but I think I'm still holding on to my Gram and I just don't want to let go. For those of you who don't know, My Gram passed away in March from Lung cancer. The cancer ended up going to her brain and then she slipped into a Coma and passed away. On one of my Best Friend's 16th Birthday.

So now i'm pretty depressed. I really miss her. This is our First Christmas with out her. Yeah we had thanksgiving without her...but that's different. Yeah I was bummed she wasn't there, but I wasn't Nearly this depressed.

My parents got my brother and I new phones, and we got to open them early - saturday. We opened them incase they didn't work right, like dylan's. I will say I love mine. It's the Pantech Matrix. And it's Viberate mode is Violent! So I see why its called the Matrix.

But I really don't WANT to celebrate Christmas with out my Gramma. I just wish this Winter would pass quicker. I actually wrote a song about this yesterday. I still haven't titled it yet (it's pretty weird not having titles for any songs now. I normally write the title first and then get to the song a month or two later. haha.)

I've had friends try to help me but It's just really hard because I miss her so much! And I just don't want to talk to anyone about it. I'm not sure why...life's just so weird right now. (the Akward Teen years aren't helping one bit).

As Christmas is fast approaching (just a few hours... 12 and 1/2 to be exact) I'm plastering on a smile so no one else will be depressed. I'm trying to keep it together. Trying to have a Merry Christmas. I hope your have a better one than me!

New Bands?

Hey all you Paramore lovers!

I've recently found a few awesome bands that have been compared to Paramore.
Girl Fronted bands.

The First one, The Hush Sound, is a piano-indie band. They Have three CDs out; So Sudden, Like Vines, and Goodbye Blues. They have hits such as Wine Red and Honey. They;re based out of Chicago and on Fueled by Ramen (the record label the Paramore is signed to). Ryan Ross of Panic At The Disco found them and convinced Pete Wentz to sign them. They're incridble!

The Second, Hey Monday, has been compared to Paramore numerous times. They only have one CD, Hold On Tight, and I love it! My absoulte favorite songs are Candles, 6 Months, Homecoming, and Run, Don't Walk. They are from West Palm Beach, Fl and they've only had their current line up for 6 months (fitting, right?) Cassadee (the lead singer) has incridble vocal skills. Mike (the lead guitarst) can write some awesome riffs. Signed to Decadance (Pete Wentz's Label) and Columbia.

The third, VersaEmerge, is new. Period. Their current line up has been this way for a few months now. They are from Port St. Lucie, Fl. They have been signed to Fueled by Ramen only last month. They have an EP out called Cities Built On Sands. The EP has the old line up. The lead singer is currently Sierra and their EP didn't have Sierra. BTW Sierra is only 17 years old. They do have an album out called Perceptions. It's incridble and I totally recommend you get Perceptions before you get their EP. Amazingly incridble.

The last new band I'm addicted to is Kelsey and The Chaos! They're incridble! They're from NYC and they're pretty awesome. They aren't signed yet, but Their Myspace has a few songs up and they're amazing! :D They do have an EP - Against the Wall - that you can get at Hot Topic. They're just wicked awesome!

So last weekend, we had a double day derby race...2 races per day for 2 days. it was awesome. I had finished my new masters car, so i was able to race it. I got a 4th and 2nd on Saturaday.
Sunday...I GOT 2 FIRSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! Never have i gotten 2 firsts in the same day! and I was so happy cuz it was my FIRST TIME in that car!!!!!!!!

And this weekend we had another race in a city a few hours away from us, and that was yesterday.

I got a first and 2nd.

3 firsts in 6 days.

Guess who's going to akron?

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dead serious. I have 163 points and I need 180 to be locked in.
And it's November 2nd.
The race season starts in September and ends in May.
I have a long time to get 17 more points. and that the simple thing.

a frist place is worth 40
second - 35
third - 30
fourth - 25
fifth - 20
sixth - 15
seventh - 10
eighth - 5

and they only count your to 4 finishes, so you really only need 4 firsts.
and I WANT one at our 200th rally...in february...so I hope I can do it!

and each rally you participate in, you get a point.
Really, all you need is to go down the hill once with someone in the other lane ;)
So that's how i have 163 points! (i've been in 8 rallys.)

so yeah. I have no pics from the race yesterday cuz it was just dad and me. mom and dylan went shopping and my mom was sick anyway.

But for some really weird reason;

MY BRAKES WOULDN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. Dear readers, there is nothing worse than not being able to stop at 30 miles per hour in a tiny car. And having no control.
Wait.
That's a lie.
It's;

FLIPPING OVER IN YOUR CAR AFTER HITTING A POLE BECAUSE YOUR HAND BRAKE SUCKS!!!!!!!

Actually, that was another kid and not me...but still. It's scary not being able to control a car.
especially when you have for 8 years! So i'm not really all that excited about gettin my permit this week....but oh well.

anyway,

I got a first after crashing into the cones 7 time (in that race) and going through 2 brake pads. Then when I raced this kid for the winner of the bottom brackett, the kid went off the road into the gravel-y driveway. With my 9th place wheels. and messed them up!!!!! Ugh! and he didn't apologize until after the whole race. but when i didn't see him, i ran up the hill to make sure he was okay. that jerk. and one of my friends likes him. ugh.

Then in the afternoon race, I kept crashing into them after a while. In lane 2, I would go off the track and stop on the bumpy, pot-hole-infested area. then, I finally tore chunks off my brake pad. And bent the plunger that the brake pad goes on. and that's not good.

and then I lost it.
you would too!
I had 2 1/2 hours of sleep the night before!
I just kept crying and crying. I had had it.

and I hurt my pinky finger!

but then i had some sense wacked into me.
and i kept racing.
and crashing into the cones.
Then I made it to the top 2.
The A phase,
I hit the cones.
Hard.
and broke my steering cable.
And then i was like,

"DUDE!!! I'VE FRICKING HAD IT WITH THIS STUPID TRACK!!!!!!!! I FORFEIT!!!!! YOU GET FIRST AND I DON'T GIVE A CRAP ANY MORE!!!!!!!"

The kid had no problem with his brakes. ugh. but most of the masters with the hand brakes crashed into the cones.
but not as much as me!

so i ended up with a first and second.

And at the awards ceremony, they called me 'Crashtrina' haha.

So at least it isn't like dylans.
Who has the same problems.
And still wins first.

but anywho...i did enjoy that extra hour of sleep last night! :]

now i need to go!

Pumpkin Carving Contest

So Thursday night, Dylan's Boyscout troop had a pumpkin carving contest. There were some pretty cool pumpkins, but I loved dylan's the best. He had a mummy one like this, only he glued bugs and stuff on it. it was pretty scary!!!!

They had a pumkin eating a girl scout (omg how bad is that?!?!) they had one covered in skittles, they had on with smoke coming out of it, one with a grave yeard inside (that was my 2nd favorite, next to dylans!) and tond of cool ones, sharks, turtles, all that good stuff.

Dylan sadly, didn't win anything! We were kind of dissapointed that he didn't cuz his was AWESOME!!!!

I got my own little pumpkin (but of course, didn't enter it) and I named it "Nate, The Emo Pumpkin." It's pretty funny! :D

I'm So Sick

So the reason I hadn't posted in a LOOONNNGGG time (welll about a week) was cuz I was sick. I had a cold. it was pretty bad...I was all stuffed up, I had a sore throat. All that good stuff! not.

So I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever.

Fall Away

Fall is officially here in florida!

it's actually cool. and It's got the FALL FEEL in the air.
I miss the changing of the leaves in New York.
It was so beautiful.
Here there's just too much green and brown.
I want yellow and orange!

*Sigh*

So It's still nice out.
But my room's still hot.
I opened the windows in my room to make it cooler.
Which it is.
By 2 degrees. haha
but it's just really nice out.
I can hear the trees rusteling...
and the airplanes over head...
and feel the wind.
Ah it's beautiful!

Partially because it's good and partially because I have to read it for english. 44 pages per assignment. not fun. The reason I'm soooo far behind!
